Uniqlo Takes Legal Action Against Shein for Alleged Copycat Shoulder Bag
Uniqlo, the Japanese retail giant, has filed a lawsuit legal action against Shein, the Chinese fast-fashion retailer, accusing it of selling imitation versions of Uniqlo's viral Round Mini Shoulder Bag. The crescent-shaped bag gained immense popularity, particularly on TikTok, in 2022 and 2023, leading to multiple sell-outs.
Uniqlo's lawsuit, filed in Tokyo, demands the immediate cessation of Shein's sales of the alleged imitation products and seeks compensation for damages incurred.
