A TechPack is the “blueprint” of a garment. This guide will walk you through every module of the application to ensure you create professional, factory-ready documents.

1. Getting Started

When you open the application, you are presented with a clean, ad-free, and login-free workspace. The interface consists of:

• Header: Contains quick links and export actions.
• Top Navigation Bar: Lists all 12 essential TechPack sections.
• Main Workspace: Where you input your data and upload sketches.

2. Managing Your Cover Image

The General Profile page allows you to set a master reference image.

• To Upload: Click the dashed “Upload Cover Photo” box. This image will appear as a large reference on the first page and as a mini-thumbnail on all subsequent pages to maintain style consistency.
• To Change: Simply click the image again to upload a replacement.

3. Navigating the Modules

Use the Top Navigation Bar to switch between different stages of production. Each module is saved in the browser’s memory as you type.

• Profile: Administrative details.
• Visuals: Sketches, Color Way, and Print Art.
• Technical: Specs, Fabrication, and Workmanship.
• Operations: BOM, Branding, Care, Packing, and QC.

4. Detailed Module Breakdown

A. General Profile

This is your cover sheet. Add fields like Client Name, Season, and Style Number.

Tip: Use the “Add More Info” button to include custom fields like “Factory Name” or “Shipment Date”.

B. Technical Sketches & Fabrication

• Sketches: Upload front, back, and detail views. You can upload multiple images at once.
• Fabrication: Define the shell fabric, GSM, and composition. Accurate fabrication data prevents fabric sourcing errors.

C. Color Way & Print Art (New Features)

• Color Way: Map out your color stories. Input Pantone codes and color names.
• Print Art: A dedicated space for embroidery and screen-printing details. Upload artwork files and define placement and sizes.

D. Measurement Specs (Interactive Table)

This is the most critical part of the TechPack.

• Adding Sizes: Click “Add Size” to add columns (e.g., S, M, L, XL).

E. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Costing

The BOM table automatically calculates costs.

• Branding: Detail the labels (Main, Size, Care).
• Care: Input specific wash and iron instructions.
• Packing: Specify how the garment should be folded and the dimensions of the polybags or cartons.

5. Exporting & Printing

The application offers three professional ways to share your work:

1. Full Print: – Click the Full Print button in the header.
   • This generates a clean, multi-page document with automated page breaks.
   • All images and tables are optimized for A4 paper.
2. PDF Download:
   • Click PDF Download.
   • Choose “Current Page” for a quick snapshot or “Full TechPack” for a complete dossier.
   • The system uses high-quality rendering to ensure sketches stay sharp.
3. Word Export:
   • Use this if you need to further edit the text in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

6. Best Practices for Professional TechPacks

• High Resolution: Always use clear, high-resolution sketches.
• Be Specific: In the Workmanship section, clearly state the Stitch Type (e.g., 5-thread overlock) and SPI (Stitches Per Inch).
